Planetary Equinox

So tonight I went to a local show that consisted of the bands, Dozer Rage from Kentucky, Jim Shomo from Philly, Hightide Hotel from Philly, Rubrics from South Carolina, and finally Failed Attempts At Facial Hair from West Chester as a full band for the first time. I have always loved Failed Attempts acoustic stuff but as a full band it was just incredible.
This is Andrew McQuiston from Hightide Hotel.
And of course the John Crodian from Failed Attemps at Facial Hair.

Hair

So I recently have been bored with my hair and feel like there's not much color around, especially in Rochester where its all grey skies and white ground. Because of all these boring colors I decided to spice it up a little and make my hair pink.

Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone. This morning was spent sleeping, eating, opening gifts, and then when all was done my family took our annual christmas day walk.

Reunion

This weekend my friend David came up to RIT to visit. We have been friends since 5th grade and haven't seen each other in a while with him going to Rice University in Texas and me up here in Rochester, NY, so it was nice to finally get to see him again.

Sledding

So last night I went out sledding with a group of friends. Just have two bits of wisdom for everyone. One: never forget how awesome sledding is. Two: Lunch trays are not great sleds.

and so it started...
and we did it again...
and finally were sufficiently snow covered and cold that we decided to call it a night.

A Fishy Perspective

So today I checked out a fisheye lens from the cage to try out, so I was taking some pictures with that as well as continuing to play around with my flash.

This is a shot I took quickly right outside of my dorm with my friend Rob as the snow was blowing through the tunnel.

Snow

Today marked the first snow of the season up here in Rochester, NY. After sitting in class all morning, it was rather exciting to come out and see snow on the ground, so I quickly go my camera and started shooting with some friends.
