Studio Portraits

This morning we were in the studios for class again, this time starting our portrait assignment. I decided to try a corner shot.

The more fun portraits will be coming next week.

Another Night of Sledding

Last night a bunch of my friends and I went out for a night of lunch tray sledding. This is the second time we've gone this winter and thanks to some people that were out there some other time this week we had a jump to go off of this time.

We get ready to head out

Thanks to a plow we have a bank to stop us

Still Life #2

Today was my second day in the studio. Up bright and early to play around isn't my ideal way to spend a morning, but its a hell of a lot better than being in a non-photo class.

First Studio Day

Today was my first day in the studio. We were working on still life's so I was just playing around with some different stuff figuring out different lighting scenarios.

So today we had our first class in the studio. We got up early and shot the sunrise from a classroom while waiting for the studio to be open, then had a studio lighting demo by Joe Z.
