First Time Feature Hunting

Today I went around with photographer Vinny Tennis looking for some feature stories to shoot for the Daily Local News.

We started out in Kennett and shot a landscape.

Then we moved on to Kerr Park in Downingtown where some people were preparing a baseball diamond for some games later tonight.

Also at Kerr Park there was a group of women playing tennis that I photographed.

First Publication

Yesterday I got my first picture published on the front page of the sunday Daily Local News in Chester County, PA. It is a stained glass window that is in the Daily Local Office.

C&C Automotive

Today I had to shoot my environmental portrait assignment. I was doing this super last minute and didn't know who I was going to shoot, so I ran down to C&C Automotive, which is a repair shop that my professor suggested because the guys are super nice and interesting. I got down there and they were awesome. They modeled for me and did a great job just to help me out. My faith in humanity that has been slowly declining has been restored by the kindness of these guys.

Editorial Still Life

For my ad photo course I had to do a still life.

Big Shot 2012

This year for RIT's annual Big Shot, we lit up Seabreeze Amusement Park.

Tons of people showed up

I was working with strobes to light this ride.

Portrait

I've been taking an elements of ad photo course this spring. Here is a portrait assignment I did as an ad for sennheiser headphones.

Thanks to Fernando Ellis for modeling.

Long Overdue

Sorry for the delay in between posts. I've been fairly busy recently. Here's some film that I shot over christmas break and finally got around to scanning yesterday.
