Reunions!

So last night was one of the best nights of my life. I went to a show that consisted of 9 bands. 1 of the bands was a reunion of the band that got me into going to shows and changed my life, another was a reunion of a band that was a few years later but was still a favorite of mine, another reunion was with a band that was also from when I first started going to shows and they were also incredible, and then there were all of the other bands who are still together and absolutely awesome.

First was a reunion of Wrap it up, one of the first local bands I got into,

Next was the Headies, an awesome band from Delaware, 

Next was Parasol from Boston, if you haven't heard of them check them out immediately they're incredible,

Then was a local favorite John Crodian aka Failed Attempts at Facial Hair, always a great time,

Next was a reunion of Factors of Four, who are a couple years broken up, but were awesome last night,

Following them was Timeshares from New York, another band that you have to check out, they are one of the best bands that are currently out there,

Following them was a reunion of The Domino Theory, this is the band that got me into going into the local punk scene,

Next was Nona, a band that is composed of local scene stars,

Last was Spraynard, former TDT members that are awesome.

Cookie Cup

On Sunday I shot a longboarding competition/event. It was a lot of people just hanging out and having fun. If you are ever at RIT hang out with the Brick City Boarders. They are really chill and just awesome to everyone (plus they give away free cookies). Anyways the competition started out with a push race around campus,

Followed by a hippie jump competition,

Followed by a manual competition.

Unfuck the World

Today there were some people on campus handing out some pro-vegan pamphlets. I decided to go up and talk to them and take some pictures for them.

Lake Ontario

This weekend my mom and aunt came up to visit so this morning we went to Lake Ontario to walk around for a while.

Flash and Hanging

I have a flash assignment this week so I've been playing around with my flash all week.

One part of the assignment involves shutter drag.

The other part of the assignment involves portraits in a closet.

Strong

My sister came and visited this weekend so we went to the Strong Museum of Play this morning.
